I have provided a wealth of comment, considered opinion and advice within this blog. For those who find themselves on the threshold of their own nightmare, I would suggest reading my blog from the beginning ...

In a BBC radio interview, Helen Denton, Executive Director for Children & Young People, Lancashire County Council expressed doubts about Michael Gove’s promise to provide anonymity. She was of the opinion that it was not realistic and that anonymity could not be assured :

My wish is to provide help to those falsely accused of child assault.
Over the coming weeks, months and maybe years, I will provide a diarized account of my story that ultimately led not only to my dismissal but the utter destruction of my career and my life.
No one should have to endure my experience and I will continue to fight for a review of existing legislation.
This meeting of the Commons Select Committee on Children, Schools and Families was held as a direct consequence of my discussions with the BBC in January 2009.
I am the first teacher in the United Kingdom to have undergone a polygraph examination in an attempt to prove their innocence. The examination was undertaken by one of the most authoritative experts in this field - Don Cargill of NADAC.
This evidence was ignored by Lancashire County Council even though such examinations are valid, reliable and are used by government in the Offender Management Act 2007.
You will soon realize that truth has no importance nor value. You are guilty from the start and you will experience a nightmare without end.
I make the offer to undergo another examination to prove, once again, my innocence with the condition that the head teacher, HR manager and key witness also take the test and that the results be made public.
Personal Belief
“To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one’s self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
Personal Statements
“I promise you, that unlike Emerson, I will never again endurethebetrayaloffalsefriends” and I condemn them all.”
“You might have destroyed my career, my lifelong love of teaching and my health but you will never be able take from me what is mine – the truth and the certain knowledge that I did nothing wrong !”
“I would prefer to be treated as a criminal in a Crown Court than sit before my head teacher and his interpretation of justice !”
